Obama Youth in Paramilitary Garb Chant Propaganda

This Video is already taken down sorry

Kurt Nimmo Infowars October 6, 2008

As an example of the sort fanaticism the Obama “Change” campaign is whipping up, consider the video here of an Obama “regiment” videotaped last year in Kansas City, Missouri. (Note: the same state where prosecutors and cops went after people who dared say anything negative about the Anointed One. For more on the Obama campaign’s attack on free speech and political debate, see Obama mobilizes rapid response on Web.)

Enthusiastically supporting your banker supported insider for president is one thing, but marching around in cammies in paramilitary fashion chanting like boot camp Marines is another thing altogether. Continue Reading »

Latest Zapatista Communique

September 15

Communiqué from the of the Indigenous Revolutionary Clandestine Committee—General Command, of the Zapatista Army for National Liberation Sixth Commission—Intergalactic Commission of the EZLN

Mexico - September 15 and 16 of 2008

Compañeras and Compañeros: Brother and Sisters:

Once again we send you our words. This is what we see, what we are looking at. This is what has come to our ears, to our brown heart.

I.

Above they intend to repeat history. They want to impose on us once again their calendar of death, their geography of destruction.

When they are not trying to strip us of our roots, they are destroying them. They steal our work, our strength.

They leave our world, our land, our water, and our treasures without people, without life. The cities pursue and expel us.

The countryside both kills us and dies on us.

Lies become governments and dispossession is the weapon of their armies and police. We are the illegal, the undocumented, the undesired of the world.

We are pursued. Women, young people, children, the elderly die in death and die in life.

And there above they preach to us resignation, defeat, surrender, and abandonment. Here below we are being left with nothing.

Except rage. And dignity.

There is no ear for our pain, that is not like what we are. We are no one.

We are alone, alone with our dignity and our rage. Rage and dignity are our bridges, our languages.

We must listen to each other then, learn to know each other. So that our courage and rage grows and becomes hope.

So that our dignity takes root again and births another world. We have seen and heard. Our voice is small to be the echo of that word, our gaze small for so much dignified rage. The process of seeing each other, looking at each other, speaking to each other, listening to each other, is still lacking.

We are others, the other.

If this world does not have a place for us, then another world must be made. With no tool other than our rage, no material other than our dignity. We still must encounter each other more, know each other better. What is missing is yet to come… Continue Reading »

A New alliance

Dr. Ron Paul Campaign for Liberty September 22, 2008

The press conference at the National Press Club had a precise purpose. It was to expose, to as many people as possible, the gross deception of our presidential election process. It is controlled by the powerful elite to make sure that neither candidate of the two major parties will challenge the status quo. There is no real choice between the two major parties and their nominees, only the rhetoric varies. The amazingly long campaign is designed to make sure the real issues are ignored. The quotes I used at the press conference from insider Carroll Quigley and the League of Women voters strongly support this contention.

Calling together candidates from the liberal, conservative, libertarian and progressive constituencies, who are all opposed to this rigged process, was designed to alert the American people to the uselessness of continuing to support a process that a claims that one’s only choice is to choose the lesser of two evils and reject a principle vote that might challenge the status quo as a wasted vote.

In both political education and organization, coalitions are worthwhile and necessary to have an impact. “Talking to the choir” alone achieves little. I have always approached political and economic education with a “missionary” zeal by inviting any group in on issues we agree upon.

This opens the door to legitimate discourse with the hope of winning new converts to the cause of liberty. This strategy led to the press conference with the four candidates agreeing to the four principles we believe are crucial in challenging the political system that has evolved over many years in this country.

This unique press conference, despite the surprising, late complication from the Libertarian Party Presidential Candidate, hopefully will prove to be historically significant.

This does not mean that I expect to get Ralph Nader or Cynthia McKinney to become libertarians, nor do they expect me to change my mind on the issues on which we disagree. In the meantime, why can’t we be friends, respectful of each other, and fight the corrupt process from which we suffer, and at the same time champion the four issues that we all agree upon which the two major candidates won’t address? Even the liberals are starting to get it (kind of)

Seriously, we’re finally reaching a point in the national collapse that liberals are starting to realize there’s an actual coup taking place. Granted, they’re still calling the country a democracy (it’s a Republic!) and they don’t understand that it’s a bipartisan coup that’s at least a century old, but still, we’re seeing progress. Now they just need to stop thinking that Obama (the candidate who’s received the most money from Wall Street) is not going to save us. We’re getting there, though.

via: Huffington Post

In 2000, the long fought for and long admired democracy of the United States of America began a slow and steady decline toward fascism - a Bush family tradition - with the installment of a president - a man the citizens overwhelmingly rejected (although the funny math told a still believed myth) - by a few corrupt judges on the US Supreme Court. That coup is now nearly complete and checkmate is all but unavoidable.

Let me first point you to the Bush administration’s so-called Wall Street bailout bill, here, so that you can see for yourself that this treachery is being conducted in the light of day. Fascism is finally and formally out of the right-wing closet even if the F word is not yet openly being used (although it should be, and often).

Now, if you do not yet understand that the Wall Street crisis is a man-made disaster done through intentional deregulation and corruption, I have a bridge in Alaska to sell to you (or Sara Palin does anyway). This manufactured crisis is now to be remedied, if the fiscal fascists get their way, with the total transfer of Congressional powers (the few that still remain) to the Executive Branch and the total transfer of public funds into corporate (via government as intermediary) hands.

The ending is the best part. A liberal talking about patriotism and breaking down the political dialectic? Wha? Why she sounds like one of them crazy 9/11 Truthers.

The other option, the one I have long prayed we would never need to even consider, is a total revolution. But, If Congress won’t act in its own self-defense, in the defense of democracy, in defense of us - the people who have elected them to protect us from this very danger - then what is left for us to do? I don’t want to see it come down to this, but I fear that it will. Put your party politics aside right now. We are in a crisis so dangerous that should these people succeed in their coup, your party affiliation will no longer matter, your American flag will be a nice collectible item of something that once was, and your version of God will be worshiped in secrecy because your freedoms will be owned by the few.

You are no longer Republicans, Democrats, or any shade of voter. You do not live in a swing state or a solid colored state. You are simply this: an American. That is the only side that matters. So call your members of Congress and demand, no, declare that unless they do their duty to the Constitution and to us, we will move to the streets - not because we want to, but because our founding fathers demanded this duty of each and every citizen in the face of such a domestic enemy. Demand - as is your right - that this bill be voted against and demand - as is your right - that the people plotting this treachery be held to account. We are either a nation of laws or we are no longer a democracy. Pick a side, because there won’t be another time, another moment, another chance to be a patriot.

New Statement from the EZLN

To the compañeras and compañeros and compañeroas adherents of the Sixth Declaration, the Other Campaign, and the Zezta Internazional: —- To whomever feels addressed by these words: —- Compas: How about this “compañeroa” term? For our part here we are thinking that this way we can resolve that problem of the @ sign, and go a little further. Because, as the deceased Elias Contreras always said, it turns out that… Well, I’m starting off a little muddled. Here we go again: —- Compas: —- First of all, receive zapatista greetings. We are writing you all (todos, todas, y todoas) in order to talk a bit about what we’re thinking, as comrades in struggle. Continue Reading »

Wall Street Bombing 88th Anniversary

Today is the 88th anniversary of the Wall Street Bombing. During the height of the anti-immigrant/anti-dissident Palmer Raids, someone parked a wagon filled with 100 pounds of dynamite and 500 pounds of iron slugs in front of the JP Morgan headquarters. The bomb exploded at lunch time, killing 40 people and injuring 400, mostly messengers and clerks, and brokers. The bombing was instantly blamed on radical Italian anarchists, and increased repression of leftist groups, though no one was ever arrested for the bombing.

Now, it’s entirely possible this was false-flag terrorism organized by the Department of Justice. Entirely possible. But let’s just assume for a moment it actually was organized by anti-capitalism anarchists. I’m sure I agree with many of the sentiments behind the act, BUT THE ACT ITSELF WAS STUPID! Bombings that kill clerks don’t accomplish anything. Killing the proletariat while urging it to rise up is counterproductive. This is the problem with most guerrilla warfare (or 4G warfare). The goal is to delegitimize the government by creating a chaos they can’t control. The chaos, however, only makes the common people suffer while the elite just retreat to Green Zones and continue eating caviar. This logic is the same as the strategic bombing logic that had allied bombers in WWII incinerating civilian targets in the hope the population would rise up against Hitler to stop the war and in effect stop the bombing. That’s not how it works. People don’t rally in support of their attacker, they support whatever level of tyranny is necessary to create stability.

Mao said, “The guerilla makes the community his base.” What kind of idiot turns his base into chaos? The best strategy to deligitimize a corrupt government is to do a better job providing the services it doesn’t. This is what the Black Panthers did. They improved their communities to gain support, unlike the CIA-supported Weather Underground who just blew up buildings.

Now, again, the Wall Street Bombing might have been a government-orchestrated attack to drum up more support of oppressive tactics. The attack certainly fit their needs-just like the ‘68 DNC riots helped put Nixon in office, and 9/11 kicked off the hell we’re in now. But if it was a genuinely-motivated attack against the US capitalist machine, than it was incredibly poor strategy. Fight the power by empowering the people, not destroying their security.

Poll: Public opposes increased presidential power

Finally! A ray of light through the storm clouds! A sign of life in the body politic. Thank the Great Mystery that there’s some spark of dignity still left in the American people and they’re not totally willing to give up all rights in the name of security. Now, how far are they willing to go to defend those rights? What must a president do before they’ll take action to defend liberties.

Read about the American colonist, those folks sneered at tyranny and carried thick canes in case they needed to riot against the Redcoats. When soldiers came to take their guns, the militias would run out and take them right back. When King George decided to raise their taxes on imports, they decided to stop importing anything other than lead and gun powder.

Americans aren’t dead yet. TV hasn’t sucked out every drop of dignity. Good. Now it’s time to prove it. Responding to a poll doesn’t make you free. Everyday actions make you free. Liberty need be exercised constantly to remain healthy. Splash some water on your face America, there’s work to do. Prove your beliefs with bold action.

WASHINGTON - Americans strongly oppose giving the president more power at the expense of Congress or the courts, even to enhance national security or the economy, according to a new poll.

The Associated Press-National Constitution Center poll of views on the Constitution found people wary of governmental authority after years of controversy over the Bush administration’s expansion of executive power, and especially skeptical of increasing the president’s powers.

“There is clearly a concern about executive power and the balance of power that comes out in a couple of different ways,” said Joseph Torsella, president of the Philadelphia-based organization. The nonpartisan center is dedicated to educating the public about the Constitution.

Torsella said he believes the polls reflect long-standing skepticism of presidential power. “I think it’s a basic chord in the American song and it gets louder and stronger depending on what’s happening in the headlines,” he said.

The survey also found overwhelming opposition to the government’s power to take private property for redevelopment and to amending the Constitution to allow foreign-born citizens to be president. Americans are divided over government recognition of gay marriage, but younger people are far more likely to support it. Continue Reading »

Lotus Announces Hemp-based Eco-Elise

Wow! What a crazy revolutionary concept! No one’s thought to make car bodies out of plastic! At least not in the last half century. Henry Ford produced a car with hemp plastic body panels in 1941. It worked great. The anti-hemp conspiracy is one of the most viscous and blatantly evil scams in the world today. There is no reason why we should be making petroleum-based plastics and paper from trees. The uses of hemp are damn near limitless. Regardless of what you think about marijuana, the myriad uses of industrial hemp could save the planet unimaginiable sums of money and prevent incredible amounts of pollution and waste. Fuck Harry Anslinger. Fuck You.

Seriously, I mock Lotus for being a half-century behind the times, but this is a great idea. More innovators need to line up behind hemp and support it’s reinstatement as a national staple crop.

Hemp for Victory!

via: Transport 2.0

You wouldn’t read about it… Lotus have gone for a different type of ‘green’ by announcing an ‘Eco Elise’ made largely out of hemp… No need to check your calendar, it’s not April 1. The theory behind this radical new approach is that Lotus feels too much “green” car technology is simply concentrating on CO2 emissions at the tailpipe, where the manufacturing processes and materials in many cars are just as environmentally damaging.

To that end, the company is presenting a more holistic environmental focus. The car will be efficient as well as quick due to its light weight and advanced engine technology, but the company has gone further by using completely renewable materials like hemp body panels, eco wool and sisal carpets, cleaner manufacturing technologies, water-based paints and locally-sourced components that reduce the carbon miles inherent in the manufacturing process.

Greek youths rob supermarket, hand out food

via: AP

THESSALONIKI, Greece (AP) — Greek police say a group of about 70 youths protesting high consumer prices seized food and household products from a supermarket before handing them out to people on the street.

The youths, wearing hoods and crash helmets, also scattered leaflets outside the supermarket. Police announced no arrests.

Thursday’s robbery occurred in the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki where Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis is due to give an annual speech this weekend on the state of the country’s economy.

The rise of Greek food prices generally outpaces inflation. The cost of food and nonalcoholic drinks rose 5.2 percent on the year in July, when consumer prices were up 4.9 percent from July 2007.
